Pinacotheca

The picture gallery. One artist a term, six pictures, looked at long and told back.

how a picture study goes
  1. Look. Two or three minutes, quietly, at one picture. Zoom in on what catches you.
  2. Turn it over. The picture hides. Tell back everything you saw, aloud or in the box. Nothing you write leaves this browser.
  3. Look again. The picture returns. What did you miss? Then read its name and date.

One picture a week. By the end of term the six are old friends, and the artist's hand is known by sight.
